Social Media Announcement
Social Media is the one of the most direct ways we communicate with our audience. This announcement utilized the carousel feature on Instagram to capture the attention of our community. Through this we were able to inform them of the productions coming up in the season and appeal to them to subscribe right away. This selection consists of four images from the social media drop.
Email Announcement
Email graphics catch the eye of our subscribed patrons. Subscribers see the big picture first and are enticed to read the details. Videos such as the one below or gifs of production images are frequently used to provide a more entertaining and interactive element to emails such as these.
A version of this video was also made in vertical format for social media.

Subscription Renewal Mailing
Subscribers from last season are mailed this packet to renew their subscriptions. In the packet is a form with information about their reserved seats, a
tri-fold 6x9 brochure with information about the productions, a survey, a letter from the Artistic Director, and a return envelope. Each subscriber’s information is mail merged onto the form and then the packet is stuffed and distributed via a mail house.
Season at a Glance
The Season at a Glance is a follow up mailing that includes a calendar, info sheet, and paper tickets for subscribers. The calendar allows subscribers to quickly note performance dates and times. It also notes special accessible performances like the Touch Tour or ASL dates. The info sheet gives patrons information about changes in the theater and how to exchange tickets.
Advertisements
For the role out of the season announcement we advertised subscriptions in a variety of spaces. We placed ads in the Baltimore Sun, on billboards across the county, on city buses, and via email newsletters.
